Can we get an option to hide/stuff our tails?

I don't know, but they're not quadrupeds and I don't know many other games with humanoid cats or similar. Most the ones I have in mind are either unique or have distinct animal features (like Lyns and their animal feet) or flat out anthro (worgens and similar). For me, miqo'te and Au ras are more humans than actual animal races, even if the lore says otherwise. At least to me, miqo'te are just nekomimis.

If anything it reminds me of Dragon Ball: they tug their tails around their waist because they wouldn't be grappled upon and lose powers. And I'm sure they don't lose balance at all when they fight.
Au Ra could wrap around the leg or something but I couldn't tell: when I meet a miqo'te or an au ra irl I'll let you know lol!

Jokes aside, I'm not saying to remove it: I'm saying that making a /tail command to tug your tail around your waist or something wouldn't be a horrible idea and somewhat make sense IF you're a fighter. Yeah it's a game but hey, I doubt it can do any harm.
I mean I'm a busty melee fighter with long hair and sometimes a miniskirt: I'm not the first person to say I want realism but I never say no to choices.

Its quite clear that most of the equipment were poorly tailored for characters with tails. So can I just hide mine? Like just stuff it in my pants or something.

Because its been around forever for so long clipping should be a given by now since SE decided that graphics and realistic visuals aren't everything.

I;m 100% for SE caring about tailed races. I'd rather they try and make better models for them.

I'm NOT FOR tail amputation! I'm very tired of the "hide the tail" thing.

When you are in a chocobo suit, it puts the tail out of the chocobo's ass, while keeping the chocobos tail, it looks soooooo wrong. So wrong.

Tails, among other things, clip with armors in the game... That is definitely true.... and it does bug me too. I do notice most of the new hairstyles coming out seem specifically designed to not clip with things as much and that is fantastic!

But the other issue is... Think about animals that have tails. People dress up their dogs, monkeys, cats...etc Can you imagine your dog tolerating you tucking their tail in? It would not be comfortable at all... Imagine tucking a arm inside your shirt and just leaving it there all day. It would be hot. You wouldn't be able to use it obviously. You'd be off-balance with part of your body always clutched to your torso.... and etc

Embrace the tails! But not too hard, not all animals appreciate their tail being touched! Having a tail is all part of being a "non-human" character. We don't even have any really monsterous races for sure. I get people want to try a different race with some cute horns or ears or something but like... it's all or nothing... it's not even much to deal with... I mean, my Au Ra has horns on her head, if her tail was gone, it wouldn't change the fact she still has two large horns on her face....and more importantly... No ears! 0.o
