Raid gone wrong..?

Hello people!

I was just doing one of the Alexander Raids with my best friend.
And well, our group was really bad. We wiped about three times, because nobody but us two tried to get rid of the alarm mobs. I was the only one who pulled them as a DPS.

After the third wipe people made a kick decision against me because of 'illicit activities'?

They kept complaining that they supposedly did the alarm mobs.
Everyone other than my friend voted to kick me. Not sure what i did wrong?

Did anyone else have a similar experience? Would be nice to know, thank you!

Did the party disband right after they kicked you?
Probably they just wanted you gone so they wouldn't get a penalty for leaving the duty first.

Are we talking A1? Were the alarums being killed under the lasers?

Then yeah, without more information it just sounds like a group angry they couldn't ignore mechanics. Sorry you had to go through that.

Lots of possibilities. By the provided description you were attempting to handle the mechanic properly, so one or more of the following apply.
-They were trying to do a speed run of it by ignoring them outright, with current over gearing you can kill the oppressor before the first jump by ignoring the alarums.
-You were taking them at which point people expect you to be able to kill them on your own. One dps should be able to take out the 2 per side easily (in minimum il gear) which doesn't sound like you were able to do before getting yourself mini from the stacks.
-Someone else was designated to kill them and you took them before they could, smn for example.
-Plethora of hesaid/shesaid gitgud coming comments from either or both sides. That were not shared here. (nor do they need to be, just saying communication lacking is a major possibility)

I'd say it's 90% likely that you were doing something wrong and didn't follow the party's strategy. It was probably a douchebag party anyway, but people don't just kick for no reason. Pay attention to what people are saying in the future, and take part in the party discussion. You can't just sit there and do your own thing in a group-based game where communication is important.

This. Sometimes people just click someone randomly to kick on the party list so the party will end and everyone will get out without a penalty. If the party is that bad, though, you can just vote abandon and it would pass with equal ease.

It really sounds like this party was aiming for a speed run. From what you are saying, you are doing the mechanics right, though did you try and pull multiple sets of adds to one laser and ignore the others? That would be the only other thing I could think of that might have frustrated the party. Otherwise, you might just had bad luck with the party you got.

It might be a premade group of 5-6 ppl so they just put the blame on anyone who's not their friends.

To be fair gordias is in an extremely awkward state right now.

I think I've seen more wipes and vote abandons this past week than I have when it first released and no one knew the fights.
