Can't say. I personally haven't noticed many, if any, misses even though I don't have accuracy melds, but I've heard of healers stacking acc quote numbers of a little over 540 so it seems likely.

ahh right. If people are able to use lore/alex gear and still meet accuracy caps without needing crafting gear then I personally am Ok with that.
If they can't however I feel something should be tweaked.

As new higher level content comes out, gear for the non-healer jobs will give more accuracy to compensate. Meanwhile, there's no accuracy on healer gear anymore.

Melding mind is a waste on any equipment that isn't normal quality, as you'll receive precisely 0 stats for your time and girl spent. As such, if DPS is that important to you, accuracy is the most viable meld you can take. As for non-healer jobs getting it on their gear, keep in mind that killing the enemy is PRECISELY why they are there in the first place.Right now my accuracy is 354 without food. Meanwhile other jobs have 600+ accuracy. While melding accuracy is an option, I feel as though Mind is more important and melding accuracy to our gear will only bandaid the problem. Also, non-healer jobs have accuracy on their gear.
I won't touch on the healer DPS debate, but healers aren't required to kill things in non solo content simply by content design, if people are missing as much as they say they are.

Even so, it still brings us back to my previous point. Eventually the accuracy cap will be too high for healers to land anything outside of Bio2, Bio, Combust2 and Combust.

It's doubtful SE would ever do such a thing as the backlash from the healer community would be far too large... people like feeling they can carry other jobs.
I'll be happy to cast Rain of Death on my Bard for any cute healers![]()

At current ilvl cap and good food, healers supposedly can have up to 600 accuracy. This is more than enough for any casual content until the 3.X patch cycle ends.
You should be okay melding aboutbhalf accuracy materia and have a fair bit rate on casual content as you get more lore / Midas pieces.

Even just with the 462 I'm at on scholar I barely ever miss on seph EX. 600 would have you more than set for savage even I feel, with just very rare misses on the later fights. At current ilvl cap and good food, healers supposedly can have up to 600 accuracy.
