I know it's just a bit of lore-based reasoning to excuse the fact that SE didn't want to give us more pets, but I still don't see how this actually makes any sense. What makes Ramuh, Leviathan and Shiva inherently more aether-intensive to summon? From what we've seen so far a primal's strength is dictated by the amount of aether they are summoned with and subsequently consume. If we have enough aether to summon Ifrit, Titan and Garuda then we have enough to summon ANY egi, it would just be equal in strength to the three we can already manage.

I got really annoyed by that troll quest for Ramuh-egi.
