level 60 dungeon roulette fair to have Aetherochemical Research Facility?

Its there probably because there isn't another place for it.

Its a lvl 60 4-man dungeon, so the leveling one is right out, the Main Story one is 8-man, and it isn't a trial. And they need it in one of them otherwise newbies would have a lot less people to run it with. And yes you might not get newbies in yours, it happens.

If you register for a roulette you should be prepared and willing to complete anything it gives you. Don't just abandon a party at the beginning and screw people who may have been waiting a long time to enter and need the help. If you only want to play a specific duty, then don't sign up to a roulette. I'm not responding to anyone in particular, just everyone with this behavior. Personally I think ARL is one of the most fun dungeons in the game, maybe the best ever. The scenery and enemy formations have a lot of variety.

All the way down to 180, and for what reason? To match the new players? To take it slow for them? There's no good answer to this. Like I said, I'm completely fine with it being in there just in case someone who needs to do it signs up, but stop syncing ilvl.

Propably for the same reason they added item sync to gubal library. Since it could be ran both, level 59 and 60 players, a level 59 tank in leveling gear was having insanely hard time of keeping any sort of enmity against the way overgeared level 60 dps. While in this one everyone is on 60, since it's the last main story dungeon it is to be assumed a new player would have not much better gear. And if the new player was tank (or to some extent, healer) , it'd just be bad times.

Research Facility has no chests, so no loot to trade for GC seals which is the main reason I run 60 roulette. (Retainers got to have their ventures) I've already had it 3 times, and honestly, I think I'm just going to leave the next time I get it.

If that's the main reason, why not q'ing Fractal right away?

First roulette run since they added ARF to lvl 60 dngs, i got into the dng, n immediately me and another player posted. .. "where r we? ". Took a few mins to realize it was ARF. Since then, I get the dng 2 out of 3 times. And almost everybody says, "I don't remember this fight. Mechanics? " lol

I specifically queued up for that dungeon last night, because i wanted to get the "Imagination"-music roll from it. Those were actually the first few sentences i saw in the party chat "Where are we?" "I don't remember this place?" "I don't remember this battle! Mechanics?"

That made the run that much more fun to do. (^_^ )-b I love the dungeon itself and before 3.2, it was a great place to meet new players who haven't done the dungeon before (thus bonus times). The only downside was, that not that many people were queuing up for it.

Because if that, i'm happy that they added it to the roulette. It will increase the chance that new players will find a group for it and i'm all for that!

Why wasn't this added to the Main Scenario roulette? Honestly, I feel that the Main Scenario roulette should include all main story duties that have limited rewards, including the Aetherochemical Research Facility, the Singularity Reactor, Chrysalis, the Steps of Faith, and possibly even Cape Westwind. All of those have no loot, no rewards beyond tomes, and all players need to run them.

Dungeons required for the main story are different, like Snowcloak or the Antitower. Those are just like any other dungeon and give loot and other drops.

A lot of people think the cards and minis from the HW dungeons are too rare. One easy solution is to give ARF a chance to drop any of them, or at least the ones from Dusk Vigil to Library(i personally would say any, but understand why some people might want to keep the newer ones exclusive). I dont hate the idea someone said earlier about dropping some of the gear from the other lvl 60 roulette dungeons, as new 60s could actually start finding upgrades sooner. If none of these are acceptable options, what about just giving the zone a larger bonus to tomestones? New 60s get a jumpstart on the purchased gear, and the rest of us who got it randomly 4 of the last 5 times we've qued lvl 60 at least dont have to work as hard to reach our goal(whether its an eso purchase or a lore cap).

If you would just make the dungeon worthwhile to run by adding drops, you'd receive a lot less complaints.
