It... really doesn't take too long. You'd have found half of them in an area in the time it took to come to the forums, log in, and make your post.

Its just annoying, pointless busywork though. I would rather pay gil to just learn to fly like they do in WoW and that would be the end of it. Its actually true that I was against flying in this game fullstop since it ruins the immersion.
It's not pointless though, as others have pointed out.
Ironic since WoW did away with this mode of flight aquisition.
So instead of being immersed in the lore of why the requirements for flying are what they are, you'd rather pay Gil to magically learn the airflow? And this is less immersion breaking?

Didn't you post a thread asking if Summoners were sucking the life out of Eorzea? I think that's a perfectly fine question to ask, but the answer to the question was explained in the very first Summoner quest. To me if you need to ask if Summoners are killing the planet, then you must be someone who doesn't pay much attention to quests or simply forgets all information reveled in quests shortly after. There is nothing wrong with not paying attention to the lore of the game or just forgetting the lore, but it seems a bit strange someone who might do that is complaining about having their immersion broken... And I still don't understand it why people complain moving across a Z axis or moving at a faster rate than ground mounts is immersion breaking, especially since the new 3.X maps were designed to accommodate faster travel and Z axis travel. I would love to know why you say flying is immersion breaking.
