About Us

Team Off Peak from Elvellon (LVN) is a hardcore raiding group that focuses on progression raiding, and our main aim is to clear raid content while it is fresh and be on the forefront of competitive raiding. We are a tight-knit group with members mainly from Singapore and Australia.

Our History

Team Off Peak was formed during the first Binding Coil of Bahamut and subsequently became a part of Elvellon FC, and has remained as such since then. The roster has remained mostly the same before Savage SCoB was released.

When Savage SCoB was released, there were differences in interests in doing Savage coil as it did not offer any incentives such as better loot, but only cosmetic titles. At the same time, we reached a roadblock while on Savage content, specfically on T7, which to this day we still passionately term the 'friendship mauler'. The roster was then reformed with the aim of tackling all turns of Savage SCoB, which was fulfilled and we managed to clear all turns of Savage SCoB before patch 2.4 (FCoB) was released.

Going into FCoB, we were confident and prepared for the content with our new roster. Ultimately, we exceeded our own expectations and cleared the entirety of FCoB in 15 days, spending ~4-5 hours/night on weekdays and ~8 hours on weekends while formulating our own strats for the encounters along the way. Shortly after, we commenced our alt raids and managed to clear T13 a month after we cleared it on our mains.

A mid-tier reform/merger during Alexander: Gordias saw us coming back from a lull and achieving decent results. As of now we are aiming to clear A7S by the end of this week's lockout and hopefully ending the tier with good results.

What we are looking for

Due to irl issues, we are currently seeking a replacement for an exceptional and versatile player who is confident in a main tanking role. Having previous raid achievements or extensive PvE/raiding history in other games such as WoW would be a tremendous plus. For this tier, you will be expected to be able to play at least PLD and DRK at a high level and switch to the best class for a given encounter if the need arises.

During progression, we also set raiding as our main priority and tend to raid 3-5 hours/night on weekdays between 6PM-12MN (GMT+8), although start and end times may change depending on our personal schedules and/or progression needs. Weekends are usually the same except for earlier afternoon starts, depending on our personal schedules such as work or school commitments. Once progression has ended, we fall back onto a more relaxed and flexible raiding schedule and raid 1-2 nights/week or more, depending on our personal schedules and availability (i.e. raid only on days/nights that all of our members are available).

We use TeamSpeak3 as our voice communications medium and you will be expected to install and use it during raids. As we are a tight-knit group, communication is key and we tend to be flexible and make clutch plays and adjust our strats on-the-fly, rather than relying on a set strategy to clear a certain encounter. Thus you will also be expected to voice your opinions, make calls and contribute to strat formulations.

Lastly, do have a stable internet connection as time is crucial during progression. And with majority of our members having work and school commitments, we have limited time to raid especially on weekdays, and would prefer to best make use of the time we have.
