Raid Roulette for Crystal Tower.

Just wanted to suggest a Raid Roulette for Crystal Tower raids. As everyone have noticed already queueing for those is a nightmare, and it seems a bit sad that dungeons like those 3 are abandoned. A Raid Roulette would fix the wait time most likely, add something new, and allow new players actually visit the places, try to get loot and for old players another way to get a few extra Tomestones. However it would have to be limited to the old raids only since if Void Ark would be included in the roulette it would mean Void Ark would only pop for level 60 players all the time I assume.

Any feedback anyone on the idea?

hmmm, I wouldn't count VA will always pop for 60 players. Much like the leveling roulette can send you to the very early dungeons.
but if they added another roulette then that means they have to add a daily (maybe even weekly) tome reward to it.

I'll see where this thread goes later.
I can't think of a counter argument to say why it would not be a good addition but it sounds alright to me right now.
If it's meant for helping new players and the better chance to get items for glam, then it's alright with me

YES! I have been talking about this with FFXIV players for a long time. I really want to go back and relive the CT raids, as well as get some glamour from them... But it's almost impossible to get into them now. I feel sorry for the new players that might never get a chance to actually do them. We need a CT roulette where the reward is a decent chunk of the current in-demand tome, (lore as of time of writing) to entice people to run them again.

I think this should be implemented, and updated every expansion. So come 4.0, the "old roulette" run would contain CT and VA, as they would both be abandoned by then. But for the rest of 3.X it should remain CT runs.

Something to revive the CT raids has been long overdue. This may just be the cure.

I was thinking that as well, with updates they should add the newer raids, and leaving the newest one out of it. However I dont see this idea drawing too much attention really. Which is a shame, as CT seems to be the only abandoned place in the game since all the other places are included in the roulettes.

I liked all these in this thread and am posting my 2 cents too.... please read SE. Make some way for CT and 24 man raids in general for the future to remain sought after and relevant. I want to be able to run them but queing, as was said above, is a nightmare

Exactly, it just seems that CT is stuck in old content, done when it first came out and long forgotten as there is nothing rewarding there anymore apart from glamours (which imo are one of the most unique ones in thoe whole game)

I'd love this, it's already a huge pain in the arse to get groups for the old tower raids at times. You'd think it'd be more popular with the fact that you can get the music scrolls from it (two per each part, as well as needing doubles of 3 of them for a 7th song)

There's a group of Reddit that do "CT Sundays" who organize the Crystal Tower raid groups on that day. I'm not sure if it's just a Chaos data center though or if it's a thing that happens on the other DC's.

I agree, raid roulette would be a lot of fun. I would run it daily.
