You are probably being overly sensitive (definately knee jerk over reacting), but if someone is harrasing someone else, report it and let a more level headed person sort it out.

we really should just let this thread stop. Pretty sure it's been going on longer than needed.

coming from a person who's been playing since 1.0 and loves hanging around populated areas to find funny names, I have yet to see anything super sexual or improper in anyway.
And I've been in both lamia and diablos.

BUT if you really cant handle custom emotes, then I'm pretty certain you can turn them off in your log so you don't have to worry about ever seeing them again.
If you can't do that much then I suggest either ignoring it like a grown up or just leave.
You seem to be ignoring everyone who's trying to answer your questions and you are blinded with your "I don't like it, take it away" opinion

Dear Final Fantasy makers dear Final Fantasy makers I am speaking to you now not only as a paying customer but as a mother I have been reading over this post and it deeply disturbs me the possibility that this command line could possibly lead to especially involving underage children under the age of 18 there are many organizations that would take great offense I ask as a mother to please remove this command line from your game or put strict sensory filters on this because if left unchecked it could most serious future problems thank you developing team Final Fantasy for listening to this mother's concern

I think she is talking about people creating images that can go around the filter process, now while people who turn it off know what to expect, but those who leave the filter on expect for certain things to be censored and with macros they can bypass this and show images that are not for people under 18, it's a ban able offense had to do that to a guy during a ark run

thank you also for bringing that up to as well let me explain to each and everyone how serious I can make this there is a specific organization might I add a federal law enforcement organization concerning the children's well-being under the age of 18 known as child protective services no I am NOT going to add but they are more than capable of doing but the abuse of this backslash /em command and also that Marco system since children under the age of 18 play this would clearly violate their children pornography law and might I say that is a federal offense all I have to do is alert them with screenshots

Go for it? CPS will ask two questions first. \\\\'How do you know the people in the screen shot are underage?\\\\' And Second \\\\'why are you subjecting your children to content you understand to be sexual or explicit in nature?\\\\' Ultimately it is up to us to monitor what our kids watch, play, or read.

I don't see the big deal? I've been playing online games since I was 11. All sorts of people have said they were going to do incredibly explicit things to me, my corpse, my mother, and her corpse. I was never disturbed by it, and I am not damaged from it. It's just online talk.
