So after periodically putting in support tickets for my character that was deleted 4 years ago, it magically pops back up. I was quite content at first after I logged in for a few hours to find that some stuff was missing but no big deal. Then I get locked out of the account that's been inactive for 4 years for a reason still unknown to me. After 5 days of no response on 10 support tickets, which I've still gotten zero response on. I was able to figure out that what you did was load the account data with the character prior to the original ARR transition. In any case, your support ticket system including the login/recovery system needs some serious kaizen. Take a look around your own forums, this isn't a just a personal problem and these types of issues are not unique to MMO. I'm sure there are plenty of more examples in here, and it obviously hasn't gotten any better. At a bare minimum I would suggest allowing the retention of access to the forums so you don't have these types of issues disappearing into the dark. I would also suggest other forms of 2FA that don't cost money if you're worried about identifying your actual veteran customers. I'm not even sure I want to play anymore with an organization that can't properly retain character data, or professionally respond to password resets on a paid subscription MMO, what is the point?
