I bought this game because a friend said it has housing. I noticed during the trial how limited it is, but I bought it anyway because my friend wants to play.
Now, today I have spent 4 hours fishing oysters to further Culinarian by making Raw Oysters. At least that was the plan. Now I find out that Sun Lemons are only available through Gardening, which is only available for house owners, which I cannot be. Or through a vendor in a level 44 area which refuses to talk to me.

Anyway, I really don't understand why where is not a house for everyone as long as the GIL are there. We had big player created cities a decade ago in SWG, so don't tell me it is a technical limitation. This content should be available to everyone and not just a few people that probably bought the GIL somewhere to outbid everyone.

This really needs to be rectified and enough instances spawned so everyone can have a house and benefit from gardening.

Not that this solves your housing problem but you can also buy Sun lemons from the marketboards in the starting cities, just an fyi

Love that automatic conclusion that people who have houses bought Gil too get them. Plenty of people in this game worked hard to get their homes, some like myself spending weeks too earn the gil for it. Abandon homes are demolished every 45 days, so if you want a house that is your chance to get one. Just make sure you #1. Have 1 class at lvl 50 #2. Have obtained First Leutiant with a GC #3. Have the gil to pay for the house or buy room at your FC's house if your apart of a FC. FC rooms cost 300k gil or wait until SE adds the mansions and get a room at one of them.

Sun Lemons are gathered in La Noscea if you have a Level 16 Botanist. Literally as many as you want.

Slightly on topic. Before 3.1 I used to see houses being sold on my server all the time in PF, if you had the cash you almost certainly could buy a plot of someone. Now however that is deemed against the rules so if you don't want your house any more you have to wait the 45 days to get any money at all back.

OP, there thousands of players with plenty of fairly earned Gil that are locked out of housing at this time (myself included). The situation is very sore point for the community.
Accusations of Gil buying are only tenuously justified at best, it is a very rare house owner that is not also an elite gatherer and/or crafter.

Dear OP, I see three options for you.

First: you go back to SWG if it was that much better. Sounds harsh? Yea maybe, you decided to play this game. Stop if you don't like it.

Second: you only started playing this game. You're level 26 and GC rank private third class. You don't even meet the requirements to buy a house even if there was a whole ward available only to you. How about level a job to 50. Level your GC rank. Make money on the way. You will realise it's actually easy to make money in this game if you really want to and don't have to buy gil as you insulted basically every house owner. By the time you actually CAN buy a house it should be 3.3 where the new wards are added and you have the chance on your house/appartment.

Third: Seeing that you created more than just one character on other servers too it doesn't seem to matter what server you play on. If you don't want to wait for 3.3 because you get to meet the requirements and make the money before that, then how about playing on one of those servers that still have plenty of houses available. (People of lower populated servers post about that all the time.)

I don't feel for you at all. The lack of houses available to everyone is a touchy topic already. It's old. It caused a lot of drama and frustration. No need to put salt into that wound. You sir, I'm sorry but you have no place to complain about housing not available to you. Get eglibility to purchase a house, then you may join the club and be "really bothered". Until then stop accusing those you're obviously jealous of.

I only have goldsmith leveled and i can make 1 million - 1.2 per week only crafting [things i will keep hidden ah ah]. And i m not even a real crafter, i basically suck a lot. I craft during queues.

No sympathy for calling committed people "gil buyers", sorry.

Just about everybody agrees that it is a problem that housing is as limited as it is, but having said that....

Even if there were plenty of housing plots available you need to be level 50+ and have several million gil to buy one, so you would not be able to buy one of them yet anyway.


Besides, you do not need Gardening to get Sun Lemons. They can be gathered by any botanist level 16+ in Cedarwood, Lower La Noscea. It can also usually be found at the Market Boards.
