Monk/Dragoon/Whatever dps class required looking for raiding FC/static!

Howdy!

I'm Matth. A rather fresh FFXIV player who has been slightly discouraged by the over the top pug-content I find in this game. I have no interest in slugging through content with randoms! So, here I am. Looking for a raiding FC or static to raid with. A little bit about me:

- I have no experience raiding in FFXIV outside of the DF.

- I am playing my monk as efficient as possible(Then again, that's not too difficult!), and my dragoon is soon up at the same level.


- I am working on levelling every class to 60. From prefference: I love melee dps,
then comes ranged dps, then comes healing and in the far corner there is tanking.

- I love theorycrafting and efficiency! I'll gladly spend hours on a dummy with a spreadsheet up. I guess being an economics student has taught me something

- As noted; I am a student. On average I have 3 classes a week, lasting 3 hours. Outside of that I spend an additional 5-6 hours a week to revise and redo notes. Everything else? All spare time.

- Whilst the previous is true; I got many, many, many years of hardcore raiding

experience from World of Warcraft. This includes, but is not limited to:
1) Being a buffer in Classic WoW, 40 man casual.
2) Being a Main Tank in the first expansion, 10 man guild, casual raiding.
3) Being a off tank for the first raid in the third expansion, while being in a 25 man guild racing for server first (we got in as nr. 4), hardcore raiding.
4) Being a healer for the two last raids in the same expansion. Guild leader, raid leader and raid healer.
5) End-game PvP during the fourth expansion.
6) Melee Dps, one of the best of the class, during the fifth expansion's last raid. My parse was at roughly 80-90% of the best person of the same class. I proud myself of that! Semi hardcore (6 hours a day, 4 days a week, cleared normal mode in 2 resets, cleared half of heroic in the following 4 weeks)

- I am perfectly willing to level up and gear any class if required. However: I am really not loving tanking in this game. Healing is so-so. Ranged dps are fine, but I do prefer melee! But, as said, I am willing to level up any jobs. My current goal is to level every job to 60 anyways!

Now, with that out of the way. I am looking for a, preferably, FC and a static. As a veteran WOW player I am not fond of the idea of raiding with people not in the same guil-- I mean, Free company and I am not fond of the idea of DF/pugging current content. So, in general:

I am looking for a raid group/FC that is:
- Active
- Raids at least three times a week, evening hours
- Serious. By that I don't mean "Only savage bruh!", but people who knows what real raiding is!
- Can bare with someone who is still adapting to the raiding scene of this game!
- Speaks english
- Clears required content. By that I mean: clears midas normal and sephirot, instead of requiring people to PUG that, and then focus only on Savage.
- Just a fun bunch in general!

My current FC has been a nice one. A couple of active people, and it helped me get past the extremely lonely starting part of the game. At this stage, though, I feel like I need a new scenery.
