Is this good DPS for a warrior?

A member of my FC did SSS and figured out her DPS was 952. This was done in all 210 Eso gear with about half VIT, half str accessories, and with no food or potions. As a console player, this was her first time being able to actually put a number on her DPS.

She went online and found some numbers around 970-990 and thinks those are the average and that they would not have used food or potions. I suspect she performed better than she gives herself credit for, but as a console player, the world of DPS parsing is new to me and I wouldn't know.

I would appreciate any insight into this.

Its a dummy, It doesn't hit back, it does not have any mechanics. So this is in a perfect world where everything is great.
Lets just put it that i've seen people do below 400 DPS...

This is actually good for a 210 WAR.

I dont have WAR at 60 but been able to do 931 as DRK in i207 post nerf (no bloodprice / reprisal for me on dummy) so it seems normal that WAR has more potential.

About keeping STR accessories on she is probably wrong.

Now both VIT and STR give the same amount of attack power (0.45) . Lets compare a i210 Eso ring of slaying vs Eso ring of fending. The slaying has only 47 STR whereas the fending has 49 VIT.

It is always better to swap to fending unless the other stats compensate both DPS and vita which is not sure (esp. with new content hitting hard, so 47 VIT x 20.67 HP is not useless). Fending gear has an extra amount of primary stats.

For the same reason the old i150 pentameld prepatch has got a short 2nd life. Got a ring with 29 VIT and 31 STR = 60 x 0.45 attack. HP loss tho.

It s a short 2nd life as the new 220 Midas / craft acc. has 55 VIT and can get Tier V STR materia on their 1st slot (only) so 55 VT + 15 STR.

Exactly. I've had a 205 SMN before the patch i believe. Did not use their dots. Was spamming ruin 3.
And when i give some advice to land dots and spread them. I'm an asshole. So i just kept my mouth shut, grinded my teeth and exited as soon as i could once we cleared it.

I had an SMN like that yesterday. Ruin II and Flare is all she did. You know what's the kicker? She had Grandmaster of Magic title up. Irony at its finest.
