Questions about the Ceremony of Eternal Bond

Hello,

I have a few simple and confused questions about the EB Ceremony.
I have visited http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/eternalbond/us/
And many other sources of info on the timing and reservations.

My Wife and I have already purchased the Gold Plan and are done with half the quest i believe where we start planning or reserving. But the confusion that we have is this:

Do we really need to wake up at 6 in the morning to just reserve?

When i go to the East Shroud...the NPC says 4am on Friday...If we are speaking PST time...that is 6 in the morning....

Also another confusing fact...I was also invited to another wedding...i randomly popped over to the Wedding Zone area for a quest that took me there...side quest i think...and someone gave me an invite...On it, it says Ceremony at 8:00pm...? What? This is where i am so lost..

It says in this Image that for Gold users its at 2:00am PST, for us that is 2 hours behind us, as if speaking in Earth Time....and thats 4 in the morning.

But when i scroll down on the page it says:

From Friday at 2:00 a.m. (PST) / 3:00 a.m. (PDT) to 3:00 a.m. / 4:00 a.m., only those who selected the platinum and gold plans are permitted to register.

Many options????

Looks like a list of starting times for registering to me. So Platinum plans get first crack at date/time starting at 1am pst then rescheduled events are last to pick

There's a finite number of slots available each week, available at a number of different times through out the week. Once those slots are filled, it resets at Fri 4am PST allowing you to schedule more for the following week. When EB first came out you HAD to be there right at 4am EST to get a slot (I messed this up once by falling asleep), but it's probably a lot more lax now.

EDIT: And the more expensive your plan is, the earlier you get a chance to grab the time slot you want. There's only 1 EB per time slot
