When there is something higher than red scrips. Like how Eso was replaced by Lore.
I just want the weekly cap to be 500 or 450... seriously, 500 overall cap, 450 weekly? That makes no sense since they changed the exchange rate to either singles or 450 at once.
Some (myself included) had expected some new color of scrip to be cycled through, either removing entirely the blue scrip, or just shifting downward in importance both the blue and the red, to make "room". Obviously, this has not happened.
I kind of expect something along those lines to happen next time they add more crafted stuff to the game though. I'm not sure if they are going to continue to use red scrip, but they almost have to add a higher tier of crafting gear next time, seeing as we are basically tapped out as far as stats go in our current over melded i170 gear and i180 gear, with the 3 star stats. So I figure the next tier of crafted gear will be 3 star, 850/820 gear, to allow us to produce some 4 star stuff later on. The only real question, in my mind, is whether they are going to add a new scrip color to provide a "tome" way of getting gear, along the model of the crafted i170 and bought i180, or if they are just going to add the new bought stuff to red scrips, obsoleting the current i180.
I had hoped that the red scrip caps would have been lifted though. I would like to get the i180 gathering gear for my retainers, and that is not practical while we are limited to 450 red gathering scrip per week. But I understand why the caps were not lifted with 3.2.
450 limit only makes sense if you've always got the maximum each week.
For anyone that didn't get the full amount at some point they have a left over amount that they can't roll into tokens (as you need multiples of 50). That extra 50 is for holding that rollover amount. So you can essentially earn the entire 450 weekly without having to worry about capping early and you can then withdrawn the 450 at once (again leaving the left over amount until you have another week where you don't hand in the full amount)
Yes someone could just trade into tokens and then trade into tokens again, but once they missed a full week worth they would have to do this every single week from then on. This stops that and just makes life easier.
Hope that makes sense!
Doesn't really make sense to have something replacing red scrips any time soon. Need new tomestones for new gear because of the larger wallet size and players being able to build up a bit of a bank when new gear releases. Red scrips? You can't really build up a bank at all with the wallet size so low. You can stockpile tokens, and I saw something mentioning that that's where the change will take place.
It wont be till 3.4 or 3.5, and we prob get a set similar to artisan's. Not sure if they going to use a new kind of scrip to get them or not. Right now whatever stats 4 star requires, prob won't be achievable in the lvl 170/180 gear.Doesn't really make sense to have something replacing red scrips any time soon. That was what I was saying. I see the new crafting gear set being 3 stars, 850/820 to craft, with it giving us the stats to reach 4 stars. I don't know whether that would entail a new crafting scrip to buy the new gear with, keeping the red scrips as a stepping stone to it, or if the new gear would just be bought with red scrip, eliminating any need to step onto the i170/i180 stepping stone.
