Join party in progress

It would be nice if we could join party in progress from the friend list, FC interface and linkshell interface.

It is annoying when a friend asks for help with an instance just to be placed in a different party - which is quite often waste of time leading to instant leave, making both groups unhappy about this situation.

Please give us the option to join instances by clicking on player names.

Sorry to say that, but if you join a party in progress then leave just after because they re not your friends that s not cool at all. The 3 guys waiting were probably very happy to see some help coming, leaving right after is just lame behaviour.

You have the right to help non-fc players you know.

Also the change change you re asking for would be to much dev work for nothing . Just group with your fc mates problem solved. If they grouped without you they have to accept a random player.

One FC mate asked for help. The first person who wanted to help got placed in a different group. Then I went to help and... got placed in another group. This is seriously annoying. So now two people wasted half hour doing content which gave us nothing in return, while the friend was left stuck without a tank. Why should we be punished for trying to help our friends?

This is quite important QoL feature which we are missing.

But it is unfair that i get a fresh group to start the dungeon if i want to join in progress. It happend to me and some friends with a trial. i got 6 fresh groups and cleared the trial before i came to my own people who waited for almost an hour to fill 1 healerspot.

Having the 'right' to help? heck no. I'm with OP on this one BIG TIME.

When there's a need to fill (mostly Tank cause, they have the right to help the three other people but.. they leave anyway (see, your point is moot)) I am asking my BF to try to join us.. then.. as the OP and lots of others, you go into a different queue.

So now, it's not 3, but 6 people that are disappointed. the 3 you just came in, and the 3 others that I'm telling the 2 dps: please wait my BF is trying to come and help us.

it's a very stupid system, just like the roulette, which only from 3.2 they made us to go in team (about time)

so when it happens, it's not like we have all day and night to play, so my BF politely spologize to the 3 others. and then he suck up a 30 min penalty..

It's a right not an obligation.

gererally though if someone asks for help with an in progress duty then the only reason I would queue that duty would be to help them out. so if it puts me in a party with others how does that help them out.

sure those others need help too, but often the only reason I queued in the first place was to help my friends who asked for help, not the people in the other group I landed in. So had my friends not asked for help I wouldn't have queued and thus not joined the other group I got put in and as such it would still be seeking a replacement. so getting put in random groups helps no one at all.

On the other hand the lack of this feature is the main reason why less and less players are even willing to try Qing when someone asks for a replacement.

Recently it's been a case that people will abandon a duty when they ask for help and start from the beginning just to be sure the help is in the right place and doesn't end up in another random group..

so yeah it does need the option to join a friends instance directly.
