Yup. Always wanted a thunder based off GCD ground aoe like bard has. That could work. Could even add a boosted potency bonus if it's used during a thunder cloud proc

Maybe could be something to use as an alternative to the proc we already have.
I mean when you cast thunder and get an early proc, or you just use your proc and quickly get another... it's a dps loss to just use again and clip your existing dot, and I always die a little inside not using it as it feels like a waste.
So maybe we could instead use it for just a single oGCD (no dot), rather than re-applying thunder to something that still has like 15+ secs of thunder left. I'd suggest NOT making it an aoe, as obv aoe would only be useful if you have more than one target... and if that were the case you'd just use the normal proc on a second add.

also would add a bit of on the fly decision making
