Importance of community

Gonna step away from FFXIV a bit. Partially because the drastic nerf to warrior dps (and tank dps as a whole) was hard to accept (because we got nothing in return in the form of utilities or anything), but more so because I've found myself too emotionally invested in this game--and that's made me a bit of an irritable jerk. Sometimes I find myself fuming over arguments I've come across on this board during my workday, and that is absolutely nuts.

This is a game, and until I learn to deal with it calmly--I'm gonna step away.

Lastly, I'd just like to say that, perhaps even beyond game-design blunders, the most damaging factor to the health of a game like FFXIV is toxic behavior amongst the members of its community.

And my crabby posts are every bit as toxic as actual crabs found on the west coast (west coast crabs currently have high levels of a domoic acid which can cause poisoning in humans).

So, apologies to everyone in this tiny PVP community that I've offended with my attitude. Stay positive, and stay pvp-ing people. I hope Feast succeeds, and I hope to soon return to this game refreshed.
