Request to add more items to Armoire

This is true, the quests always give out the gear.

Would like to add my vote to more stuff in the armoire. I'd really like all my untradable Blues to be able to go in there. Mainly the tomestone gear.

Augmented AF would be primary one I'd like added to armoire, along with Lucis tools. Both are upgrades of items already allowed into armoire.

As for others, the old Mythological tome gear, and Esoteric tome gear, since I doubt either will have replica version that'll be craftable. Understandable though if they don't

I'm aware, but it's also the only old tome gear without a crafted or merchant equivalent version for glamours, and is also unique in that it's one of the few sets where every job got it's own set.

Thank you. Any word on whether discarding the Lucis tools now will affect the flag for being able to purchase them from the salvager when 3.3 goes live? In other words, can I get rid of my Lucis tools in preparation and safely be able to repurchase them later if I want to or do I have to wait?

I honestly don't see the point or reasoning in being able to repurchase these items. At this point in the game's life for a level 60 crafter, these items are obsolete. I have a few and have no use for them. Would it be much more productive if I can just destroy them via desynthesis or convert them to crafting materias. Sure I can get it, it's all about the glamour, though I still don't see a point.

Is there any reason to make them repurchaseable? Are they going to be upgraded further soon? Pointless otherwise, I think.

Glamour. Lucis tools have a unique "oversized" look while sheathed that I don't think is present on any other crafting/gathering tool. I'm sure there are folks that miss having a ludicrously huge frying pan on their back, or whatever.
