Vibration Function on Controller

I've noticed we have a Vibration function on controllers; however it literally does nothing. And maybe I'm playing the wrong content (I play everything except for PVP), but I've literally never felt my controller vibrate, EXCEPT for when I toggle the feature on.

It seems a little pointless to have the feature if there's nothing it's used for.
The vibration in the controller honestly adds a lot more realistic qualities to the game, for me. I've strictly played FFXIV for so long I forgot the controller vibrated.

I think it'd be useful in combat especially; for when one takes damage.

I honestly think that would add a lot to the game and make it feel better all around. And as always - to keep the community happy - keep the off and on feature, so we can play to OUR liking.

Other than that, it's really pointless to have that function and not use it.

Seriously though, if I ever fish I have a headset on listening to music, when I'm using mouse and keyboard it's kind of almost impossible to fish like that for me, switch to a controller, vibrates I know it's time to reel it in. Ezpz

Ah, probably why I don't recall that, I very rarely touched fishing. I still find it kind of :/ that it doesn't vibrate during battle/combat. Not mine anyways.

Mine vibrates all the time too and even has settings to change the intensity of the vibration It's really quiet awesome, especially on Sephirot phase 2.

You have to enable the vibration, at least on pc. Just plugging a controller with vibration in and having it work doesn't turn on the vibration by default
