This. When people are new to some content and don't say a word about it because they expect to "wing it", thats when it can annoy people who already know the fhe instance, and its understandable.
    You have two options.
    1. Make a blind training party on PF.
    2. Go on DF. But, by doing so you agree to let the others know you're new and that you will both ask for advices on what is coming and follow them, weither it will spoil the fights for you or not.

As i said going on a new instance through DF and not warning others and potentially waste experienced people's times simply because you didn't want to spoil the fight is selfish.

Im a very patient guy, but if you do keep failing because you didnt ask or follow my advices i for sure will rage at you.

Generally speaking, in dungeons, it's not much new. Dodge aoes. Deal damage. If something you can click on, click on it. It's mechanic heavy raids that may require some assistance to some, so don't be afraid to ask!
Was in A8 earlier. Had 3 new dps and one new tank. I offered to help. I was typing, but the other tank Triggered his pull macro while I was explaining the basic mechanics outside of what's learned in A7.

I honestly don't care if you think it's "rude" or "insensitive" when the information is available. You are willfully choosing ignorance, so expect the reaction. So yes.. REALLY! Stop being lazy and take the 10 minutes to at least know what you are getting in to.

I'm willfully choosing to learn something myself and not be babied through it. Funny how you call me lazy for not watching a tutorial and taking the time and effort to learn it myself. I'm afraid you are the lazy one here, who isn't patient enough to let others enjoy the game because you can't be bothered to learn the mechanics yourself in a few day old patch.

Not exactly sure you know what the word lazy means. Try dictionary.com. I take the initiative to educate myself before stepping into something blind, instead of expecting someone else to explain the strategies before a fight. So, if you want to just dive in blind, be my guest.. but don't get all butt hurt when your ignorance constantly wipes the group and they A: explode at you, or B: kick you from the group.

    "Lazy" adjective
    1. unwilling to work or use energy.

Since you completely ignored what I said, I learn the fight MYSELF. I don't enter a duty and ask anyone to explain it to me. I try the mechanics and figure it out. You're the one unwilling to put the effort in. Funny thing is, it's people like you who actually get kicked from groups.

This is not a homework assignment to some people. This is a game. It is their relaxation or enjoyment. For many the joy of said game is to figure things out on their own.

No one said you had to queue the DF and run the risk of having to deal with said "lazy" people. The way I see it, you could stop being lazy and find then queue it with 3 or 7 of your friends and not have to worry about it. That is what I do the times I don't feel like helping or dealing with the possibility of encountering people who don't know the fight.

I see nothing in the DF or roulette that tells people they need to review said fight beforehand. If you choose to queue a roulette, stop being a whiny bitch for putting yourself in that situation as suck it the &*($ up.

It is a simple concept really.

You are what people call a killjoy, "no you can't have fun learning the fight you need to know how to do it already"

There are moments where going in blind is accepted, and fresh new content is one of them.

It's lazier expecting to get spoonfed without even trying to see what the content is like.
and using inconveniencing others as an excuse for your laziness is terrible.

Honestly, I still stand by my opinion of, if you enter a duty finder, expect peeps to not know the fight....... I would much rather people learn the fight in DF or a PF made specifically for learning. I only get annoyed at players who don't know a fight who join a farm party or a clear party that states "must know most of the fight."

Also on the note of "look it up." This too, is what I feel DF is for. Not every player wants to learn from a guide and not every player is going to be present at the launch of new patches. I personally like to try a few DF runs before looking at a guide as well. I will note though, that I state I am new ahead of time in case the group wants to vote kick me. XD (I will sympathize with those up late who want to run the Alex floors that it can get annoying being put in a group with new players though)

Ultimately, though, the patch just came out and isn't even a week old and I too, have seen some salt. That being said, I have been in a few midas parties who were willing to stick it out almost to the last 10 minutes.

I will say, though, I still feel that over all the ff14 community is much more tolerant than many other mmos, with this subject.

    IRL? What's that? Sounds dreadful!
