I was in an A6 party with a DRK that didn't have provoke. I did A5-A8 solo DF over the weekend (aka not hardcore raiders), and only had 2 total fail parties; that one and my first A8, where at least 6 of us were there the first time.

honeslty, i've cleared this fight like 9 times now, and i still dunno what this tank swap mechanic is people keep mentioning ? >....>; ive never died in there, so i have no idea..

In the first phase, when he uses perpetual ray he gives a vulnerability debuff on the MT. The safe way to handle it is a tank swap and have the OT take over while the following two missiles land; however, most good tanks can just mitigate through it as long as the healers are on point. The only other tank mechanic really is that double rocket punch can be double tanked to split the damage.

There is tank swaps in Midas normal?.. Oh nvm i always soak shit from MT with Cover and keep deepsing while popping some CD's, i wonder how many times those random DF healers goes apeshit when they see OT's HP dropping like a fly instead of MT's. Loving Cover in Midas as it literally brakes all fights in there, A7 is propably only one where you might need to do one swap if you run it with random co-tank but if MT is one you know you can relay hes CD usage and toss some big fat 10k clemencies till the stacks drop.

There are Tanks who know what they are doing that can just soak the damage quite easily with Healers throwing out mitigation and topping them up. I'm comfortable with doing it either way even in DF so long as they are actually paying attention instead of sleeping and just expecting Healers to keep topping them up while not using defensive CD's at all. They go down pretty fast and don't seem to understand why.
