Why do people not understand A8?

I still don't know what to do when the AoE circles and Arrow drop at the same time in A8 last phase.
For some reason I always die.
It's super confusing. At this point I think it's because I'm going in front of him and getting hit with something, but I still can't be sure. Thankfully I'm the only one that dies.

At that point if you are the one with the arrow split dmg part run to the boss soon as the aoe circles disappear everyone should head to that spot knowing it( or at least this is what's done the times I've ran it) soon as the mech goes off you need to run behind the boss to not get hit by his next att. I hope that helps some lol

Super Jump was the bane of our groups existence. He'd turn to face the five of us huddled together and line one of us up. And we'd just stand there and let him jump on us. It took three times before the tank we came in with pointed out that if we don't know who he's targeting just everyone scatter. It was a proud moment.

You can usually tell if you are the targeted person as you'll get the little look at me aggro sign in the corner. But ya spread is always best there ^°^

Back to topic though, I haven't really had much issue with alex YET, Monday was a mess for a8...but idm Wipes as long as people progress on next try. Since content is still so new...go into df expecting some Wipes and when you don't bask In the victory.

Even without reading its not hard to understand what is happening.

As we went into it on day one (blind run), we have beaten it in the second try.

Yup, plus visual guides were on YouTube within a day to a few days depending on which floor. Written guides were on reddit within hours of 3.2 dropping.

One safe way someone pointed out in DF (this was a good tank and was nice enough to share this with us) was to make a triangle in the middle with the markers for M4-A8 (however you wanna call it) to make the missiles and stacking a no brainer. MTank just stays in A while the rest stack in B or C, once the missiles come down move to the other mark and as soon as you do that you all should be stacked to share dmg, rinse and repeat. Been trying to explain this one to people as well but for some reason someone likes to remove those marks and use them to mark the adds, which you can easily just mention by cardinal points and assign one dps to each to clear them. Well, they'll learn it one day but for now it is scatter for their lives and hope to make it in time for the dmg sharing in DF.

Even when knowing the fights blunders can happen, patience is key in these.

What we do is stick a B market in front of the boss, an A marker to the right side, and have the tanks opposite B with the boss facing them (back to us obviously). Everyone stand at B to bait the AoE's there, as soon as the markers appear and someone is targeted for the damage share we all run to A to avoid AoE and soak damage. Once the shared damage has been spread run directly through the boss to avoid his laser/beam attack and scatter to avoid the jump. When he's back in position return to B and repeat.

The problem I experience all over is low DPS... If you get first Execution at 65% of Onslaughter you know you gonna wipe and you still try and waste 10 mins on it >.>

Having all mechanics checked is important, but there's no point if DPS is low and you can't meet the light DPS checks. Wiping from enrage in A8 is one of the saddest things since you'll have to start all over again against Onslaught.

I've only seen enrage on it once, and that was my first time in. Low dps was due to deaths, not low dps. Tanks died repeatedly (one attempt MT died about 15 seconds in, before first set of adds), healers were casting raise on tanks while dps were beat on, dps die.

When I see problems there it's more about mechanics, mainly people baiting the circle aoe's all over the place making gathering for the split damage impossible. Also the gathering for the double cannon move.
