(Some minor spoilers)
I trusted Haurchefant. My trust paid off. Oh what I high price it was though.
I trust Alphinaud. He's the Gilligan to my Skipper. Yeah he makes a lot of mistakes, but damn it all if the little guy doesn't mean well and try his best.
I trust Y'shtola, because she's the games primary representative in other franchise titles, and she's the most popular Scion (Why do you think we got her back first?). She's pretty much destined to be linked to Team (Insert your name) as an ally forever. Her only other option is to die. The fanbase would flip their lid if their communal Waifu was ever disgraced by being turned evil.
I trust Yugiri, but that has more to do with my main job being NIN than anything. Solidarity in shadow and what not
Strangely enough, I also trust Midgardsormr. Don't know why, but he just feels like the type to stick by his word. He's an eternal, near-undying dragon god. My life is little more than a breath to him, and he's not in any danger of dropping dead any time soon like SOMEONE is. It just feels like plotting my downfall is a bit pointless in the grand scheme of things for him. Even if I failed to live up to his expectations, it's not like he's particularly short on time, and there's virtually no benefit to him in betraying me. Hell, we already killed one of his sons once and he didn't really seem all that distraught over it. I don't he'd care that we need to do it a second time. Especially now that he's attacking his own kind.
I used to trust Yda and Papalymo, but...Well, after a comment made by Papalymo in the latest patch, I'm at least wary. I worry that they might be working with Ilberd now, which is totally not okay with this Warrior of Light. Hopefully I'm dead wrong, but all these story threads playing out the way they do makes even the tiniest doubt into a mountain sized red flag. Hell, I don't even fully trust Hydaelyn anymore. I'm worried that the crazy crystal is going to want some Teria A La Mode when she's finished with Minfilia. I ain't about that dessert life.
