I actually would have preferred the Phase 1 music instead, it makes me feel like I'm playing Mega Man. But, I'll take what I can get lol.

I've seen pretty decent drop rates.

11 Ravana, 2 drops
18 Bismarck, 3 drops

Of course, I rolled less than 20 on everything except my winning roll which was a 98 lol.

There are some extremely lucky people and some others extremely unlucky. Everyone I've farmed with was at 50+ runs without a single drop, and we were farming like crazy (Ravana no adds no rose of hate, bismarck one rotation only)

I have never done Bismarck Ex ever before and might just pop into DF to try and get this mount. Would that make people in DF angry?

He's really not that hard, especially now. He has a lot of various mechanics, but none of them are especially difficult to deal with. He has a very strict DPS check that used to be difficult, but with higher iLevels now, that DPS check is very easy to pass.

I really don't like the sparkly flashiness on some of the mounts. It looks like something pulled out of Wizard101 - and not a bad word about that game, but its visual style is, how shall I put it, very far from FFXIV's.

On this mount, it isn't sparkles, it's bubbles lol. Bismarck is Wind and Water, so the mount reflects that. Ravana's mount has flecks of red ash that trail off of its wings. I think it's fitting for a primal mount.

The worst thing about Bismark mount is it takes much longer to farm than Ravana because no phases can be skipped (Ravanna's butterflies and other things are entirelly skipped/ignored resulting in a quick 3.5 minute runs, one of few fights where higher dps is actually rewarded). With good dps Bismark takes almost 6 minutes, with bad almost 8... Which is weird because it's lower ilevel fight.

same happens in older primals , garuda, ramuh gets 1 shoted , but try to do that on ifrit or leviathan

sephirot and thordan drops a mount too , no1 has seen it? , mounts looks cool , i want bismarck mount for my water glamour once im in full torrent gear :P
