Primal Summons = I Win Button what do you think?

I LOVE this idea. The rarity of the cards or the 2 week charge timer would be awesome. Obviously having an I win button you can use often is a bad idea, but as Yoshi-P said, "It's OK to go overboard" (every once in a while). Even if it instant cleared content (which I sincerely doubt it will) from the sound of it, it wont be something that they can abuse. You'll have heavy restrictions on it.

I think it is probably going to be rather difficult to obtain these cards, also I dont know I get the feeling everyone in the party needs the card to summon him, could be wrong but I'm betting it will be difficult to use a summon very often at all, so I'm ok with it.

What if when PvP is finally out and you are one win from attaining some for of rank just to have a completely inferior team just pop Ifrit in your face? That seem just a little rediculous and broaken to me.

I dont like attitudes like "its unfair" blabla.

i mean come on.. there will be less companys who own the rights to summon one primal... and i dont think that they can summon that primal that often (the weather will change all around eorzea when summoning a primal(god).. pure epicness... so i think they maybe just can summon them once per day or so?

and i think its cool and interesting (a "wow" effect) to competing against a group of those. "Wow they summoned ifrit etc. and kicked their asses".

why all people have to be as strong as the others? i mean in FF games there are also "powerful" villains who are fighting alone against a group of 4?


so i say, why not? and even if they can summon a primal once per day or whatever... it shouldnt be THAT radical. i mean they worked their asses to gain the right for just 2 weeks to summon the primal. so you always have to work hard to earn the right to summon one.


i think thats really epic and shouldnt be cut by thoughts of "ohhh its unfair *cry"
and we dont know how powerful they'll be nor how often they can be called. maybe it will be really rare to see one of these primals in action.

1. wait for more info is released this is just brief info YoshiP just gave out in a interview so no proof this is how it's going to be 100%
2. say one side had Ifrit and tries to one shot kill everyone on the opposing team... while the opposing team was keeping Leviathan hidden and beat the crap out of them... it's not only Ifrit that's going to be available.

There are two types of Summons:

-Summons for Summoners ( at which they can summon anytime they please and its no " I win button"
-Summons that only Free Companies can use as a team( In which only You can have 1 token max per Free Company, and once you use up the what they refer to as a " Token". You then have to fight the Primal again to obtain a new Token.

That's no easy task, to get the token, considering look how hard they are to take down right now as it is? So when you scale that into the " I win button" and you only get 1 max to hold, then It seems right to have that token as a freebie card.

Yeah I'm worried that is what they mean.
I wanted to see LS become Social groups and allow us to form "Free Companies" in-line with more regular Guilds or alliances.

I completely doubt it. Linkshells are non-binding and have become necessary in FF MMOs. I would be very disappointed if they took them off, especially considering that Yoshi already said he wanted to better the LS system.
