Yes Lukha except this game isn't free. SE allows you to play for your sub fee but they provide extra content for an extra price. They didn't have to give people the ability to change race and gender or change servers or change their name but they saw an opportunity to capitalize on these OPTIONAL services and chose to provide them for an additional fee. You can still play the game and have access to all the content without these items but if you want a little something extra it's there for you provided you have the money. They even give a free phantasia with veteran rewards and the purchase of the HW ex pack.

I honestly don't know why you haven't blocked me yet if you can't stand so much of what I post. Or just ignore me. Plenty of other people tell others to stop complaining about stuff on these forums and I don't see you crawling up their asses about it. What did I do to earn the honor?

Some of the male/female restricted items baffle me. Such as gloves and headpeices.

Body armor I can get due to the differing designs of the male and female form. Then again I also don't get why people want to cross dress in a game that gives them the option to play either gender, but hey different strokes and all that.

I'm perfectly happy that this game has an imbalance with everything. Giving everyone the same thing is a very bad game design. For all that, might as well have only one race and only playable males since "everything needs to be equal and the same."

What's exactly wrong this time? I'll assume this was because of the Little Ladies Day event because of the time this was made.

But anyway, I don't really mind gender-locked gear as long as it makes sense. If it looks unisex then it should be unisex though.
Although I would not agree on making feminine-looking gear unisex, or even masculine ones even though they usually become unisex later on, sadly. Males never get any unique glamour ever.

Something like the bunny ears though I find odd that it's still locked to females but then again it's tied to a female-only set.

I was going to say, though I haven't counted exactly the numbers, the glamour sets gender locked added this patch seem pretty equal. If is any consolation for you missing out on a set of gloves there are three pieces of the new male glamour I really wish were unisex.

No consolation at all, since as a female character you still have access to at least twenty (I forget the precise number, but last I saw it was up to about twenty-three more female-only than male-only pieces?) more glamour items than I do as someone with a male character. Actually the fact that you want those male-only pieces but can't have them annoys me even more, because there's absolutely no reason you shouldn't be able to wear them.

This is why I prefer the option of making everything unisex. I keep seeing people arguing that doing that will mean they won't make girly stuff anymore, or they won't make masculine stuff anymore, but what will actually happen will be we still get the same girly and masculine items, perhaps at a slightly slower rate because they won't be able to cut corners by just not modeling it for fully half the population, but everyone will be able to wear all of it and glamour to your heart's content.

Did it ever occur to the people asking for MORE locked gear that the reason everyone's wearing basically the same outfit every time there's new stuff released is because they only have access to a few of the options? If you release two male and two female sets, everyone only has two options for each slot, and the various combinations of those options. If you release four unisex items, you have a much larger pool of options to combine together, so there will be much less overlap.
