I've learned that people aren't joking when they say glamour is endgame lol.
I think it's a bit much to compare and contrast the options of gender-locked gear on an online game to an actual discussion/debate on gender equality. Then again, arguments have been made over less, and I didn't read all 13 pages, just the first few posts on the first page, and the last few posts on this page and the one before it. Doesn't take much to express an opinion.
It's okay men, we still have the Sundrop Dance!

Just wait until we get another dance that looks great on men but terrible on women!
The hypocrisy as they cry for equality will be even more delicious!
I like my fantasy world with Gender Lockouts.
As long as you can go talk to an NPC to change them if you change genders.
This analogy. Take all of my likes, TAKE MY LOVE.Not gonna get involved with any of the gender/cross-dressing/removing restrictions arguments this time, but I would like to know if people would be cool with the next Bon Season(Moonfire Faire)/Halloween/Christmas event/what-have-you featuring event costumes and glamour where all races share one new outfit but lalafells get that one outfit plus 5 or more additional unique sets for them, just because?
I mean the devs should go for it this year- they'd get outstanding support, I think.
They'd save time only modelling new outfits for lalafells too.
I don't want to be spiteful, but take my likes too! It's okay men, we still have the Sundrop Dance!

It's normally not very good to mock an entire long-standing culture. The Haka. It's okay men, we still have the Sundrop Dance!

Er...longstanding doesn't necessarily make it good. The the female version looks kinda crap.

I look at it as that they chose it for two reasons. They didn't want to insult a culture that the male version derived from (not using it implies that the female version isn't worthy of being used) and the potential... uhmm... misuse of a constant emote with widely spread legged female characters. Either of those are rather plausible, the latter being because of the previous reason we were given about not being able to use that sleep emote anywhere.Er...longstanding doesn't necessarily make it good. The girl in that vid reminded me of myself at the prom kinda trying to dance but failing miserably because I didn't want to be there because the guys were all off in a circle in the middle crotch thrusting towards the center at each other....
Right anyway, long standing or no I still think the female version looks kinda crap
