To be fair, there is a female counterpart. I forget the name of it, but it has the same general look + lace.

Personally I'll never be cool with gender-specific gear, but this game and the people who play it seem to really like it, so I've just reluctantly accepted it. What can you do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
