Please enlighten me if I'm doing something wrong.. Duo-ed level 10 leves one star was a hard fight every time with a level 13 andddd i got bogus sp.. Please assist =\
But you just duo on 10-15. that is the different. the more member u have to help speed up thing = quicker.

I really think party's need to start around lvls 10~15 now. Hence the new lvl 15 dungeon, I think they want the game more party based again. Leves allow for casual solo players to gain xp but it's at a slower pace.
Start getting party's together around 10-15 and I bet it will go a lot faster. I will do this when I jump on my MRD and report back to the forum.
Also, it seems crucial to have new, non dated gear at lower levels in my experience. My CNJ used to decimate things pre 1.19 with a wand and shield. To do any damage at all I needed a stave with +AMP

THM isn't impossible. It's only difficult if you're fighting something that's strong vs Light or Dark & you don't have CNJ leveled to compensate for 1 of your nukes doing half or less dmg.
They're overhauling the caster classes in 1.20 & beyond anyway.

in a party, grinding from 16 or 17 to 20ish on cactuars west of Horizon camp is quite viable. You'll get your fair share of chains. If you're duo or solo, better wait til 18-19. 100 needles can still hurt if you're alone.
After that, move southwest of the big crag with a pathway across it for cactuars between 23 and 26 I think.
Once that is done, there are even more ranging from 25 or 26 to 29 a bit west or a bit south. Can't quite remember.
you can eventually move on to Mitelings just a little north of Nophica's wells when you reach 27-29. These yield massive exp but can link nastily at times. They respawn fast even if you kill them all off in a burn, which is excellent because you get chain 5-8 before they are all cleared. You wait a few seconds for them all to respawn and then you just kill them all again for another chain.

Agree, the leveling curve is off. Leveling should become slower, not faster. It really kills sense of achievement when you hit 50 in just a couple of days.

Lol even when people are pulled up on the rank and sp thing they still say R10-R20. ^^
I have also noticed the levelling curve has changed, I am slowly just doing leves on my lower classes there is no rush for me as I have several high level classes already.
Must be frustrating for people with low level classes though.

Hire someone to run around and kill your mobs for you?
Or get someone in your LS to take turns with you PLing eachother?
Gladiator is slow to level because dmg output is abyssmal. I've been trying to get sentinel too, such a chore.

issue is 11-20 you are probably focusing on leves, people that are getting 45-50 in 5 hours are in grinding parties.
