RMTs cloning players.

This is a pretty scary concept to think of. Having your character cloned from skin color to eye design up to a tee. It shocks just what the RMT will do just to spam their advertising. This is a quote from a person of the Adamantoise server on the unofficial FFXIV adamantoise server page. She addresses how the person looks the same but also if you black list the cloned RMT you also end up black listing the ACTUAL PLAYER!! This can be an issue as to FATE parties or Party Finders or hunts, etc. I am also pretty worried of this being reported to GMs because I am afraid if the RMT gets removed that it also removes the original player. Like this person has them copied up to their title and Free Company tag. The only thing is doesn't copy is their clothes and class.

I really hope SE can look into this and step up to prevent this from ever happening!

Hey guys. I'm just posting here to familiarize people on a RMT exploit that's been spreading slowly the past few weeks involving CLONED PLAYERS. If you BLACKLIST the RMT/cloned player, it will also BLACKLIST the real player preventing you from being able to communicate with them. Cloned players appear as level 0 adventurers with nothing equipped but share the same name, title and FC tag as the original player from the time of cloning. So if you see this behavior, report it to the GMs and try to refrain from blacklisting innocent folks.

How did that even happen? o.O
Isn't it impossible to create a character with the same name on the same server? How did someone manage to become Level 0 when the game starts you off as Level 1?
The RMT they spam is the smallest issue there o,O

Its a character that is being injected to the game before it ever starts up and skips the initial instance. Its level 0 because it hasn't actually spawned into the game.

While I don't have a clue how these RMT did it, I AM certain these characters weren't created using a normal in game character creation method.
