I paid for a resub after hearing the wonderful news! New crafting gear..! But today they didn't add any new tier of crafting. They just added a offhand and a couple pieces of jewelry that were the same item lvl already in game. I was expecting new gear not 4 new pieces added to the current sets ilvl/scheme ? Wish I could get a refund feel robbed and lied 2.

Nobody lied to you. They said we were getting new gear, and we did. You assumed, and you know what they say about assuming. Next time wait until the patch info is posted by the devs or other players.

pvp 205's that turn into 240's added

crafting/gathering nothing new for ilvl just an extension and bad one at that *no materia melds on new items making them worse then ilvl170s* soo.. yes some items were added but they made no impact on gear nothing NEW to gain no NEW tier.. but yes 4 items were put on a vendor and labeled NEW yet are pointless items to even own.

Yes? Void Ark was new gear, despite the existence of Eso gear.

You could also have waited for the patch notes to be released before you decided to resub purely for new crafting gear. The fact that you chose not to do any type of research and relied purely on your own assumptions mean most people will have no pity for you or your situation.

As others have said, nobody lied to you in any way shape or form. In fact, most of the information was given to you days before the actual patch was released and then again the day of the patch. It was your choice to ignore this information and act on an assumption.

Highest ilvl for PvE is still pretty good. For folks like me trying to get back into PvE after a long time away it's valuable. Heck I'd be buying the stuff up if it weren't all 7x what I can currently afford.

It's waaaaaaay too early for a whole new crafter set. The earliest I would expect to see the shared left side 4-star set is maaaaaaybe 3.3, but probably 3.4. We didn't even have any of the artisan set until 2.4, and I think the body wasn't even added until like 2.5 or something. You can already get decently above the 3-star stats with the current gear available.

Sorry that you feel like you were robbed. Preliminary patch notes on Friday had the offhands and accessories listed in the items and nothing else for crafters, so be sure to read through those before renewing your sub next time!
