I created an excel worksheet to do these calculations and posted it on google docs. Here is the link if anyone wants to download it.

I sure want that!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!
There was a problem with the formula on the last upload. Here is the update https://docs.google.com/a/qmail.qcc....3NTAz&hl=en_US
Getting an error....
"Sorry, the page (or document) you have requested is not available. Please check the address and try again."
Thanks mooglebox for the twitter link here, the more folks know how to check levels, the more synth levels we know!
On the spreadsheet, all I see is a list saying -10 over the pages.
Do I need to download it to use it?
Yeah. You have to download the .xls file and then type in the info you got, like your level, exp from the synth, and how much quality you gained, then the last column will pop up the calculated result for you.
For the most part (at least spamming Standard), you can simply drop the "quality gained" part by rounding down to nearest 50 and use that to calculate the level. Quality doesn't have much effect unless you gained ~60-70+.
E.g. 315 exp gained -> 300 exp = +50 exp from 250 = 1 level above your crafting level.
