The stance itself you get used to, and definitely feels more designed for it than BRD, but it's the overall ideal that SE has forced upon players which ends up very counterproductive for what's asked of us when we play the job: Support vs DPS. As I said before, EVERY job now offers some kind of supportive skill to the party, and in some cases, it's a significant one. But only BRD and MCH are automatically lesser for being Support, then further penalized in our primary role of damage dealers when tasked to use said support skills. All this of course, in the face of fights with tight DPS checks and sometimes heavy movement (which our damage-increasing stances don't mesh well with).

It's really time SE truly reviews their concepts of BRD/MCH as "support" as well as DPS, and yes, while at it, address the almost unanimously hated visuals of the Gauss Barrel.
