However, Bootcamping your Mac to run in Windpws is easy and stable. And as an added bonus to using Bootcamp with FFXIV you won't have to pay again for a license.
I might give it a try. I would rather not play while having to use Mac than buying a separate version though. Have never played a game where that is required.. O.o
