Not really? Macs for the last several years use standard PC hardware. They only really have the TPM that sets them apart.

Don't get me wrong, I don't follow EVERY mac machine that gets released on market, so maybe what you said is true, but this was just released last year

Yes, the screws are proprietary, Nintendo does this too. They don't want you messing with it, and want to keep their control over it. However, the hardware, like the CPU and GPU, not the screws and such, is PC hardware. This is why Windows will run pretty much natively on it.

Apple hasn't used PowerPC hardware for many years.
