Submission Title: Night in the Brume: Reorchestrated for Percussion Ensemble

Comments: I've stayed pretty true to the original and experimented more with various tone colors. I transcribed and arranged the music for all percussion instruments. In the video, I am performing all of the parts, and playing with a click track. I also have a good friend who was willing to record, edit, and mix for me. We recorded in the band room at the high school where I teach.

This was an amazing experience and I'd like to thank SE for the opportunity!

Brief comment for your entry (500 chars):
This was a super fun project to do! I tried to tell a little story using my character as well as showing video of the recording. Thanks to the Hyperion Lalafell Legion LS for their cameo at the end! I love the music of Heavensward, so I especially enjoyed making this.

I think it's worth mentioning the explanation of the name Lyini rather than mine for the post. Lyini is the name of my wife's player, and she is the primary account holder. We play a lot together, and her DPS is way better than mine.

Submission Title: Keys to the Brume

Description: Countless pieces of music from FFXIV have inspired me to sit down at the piano and rock out, but I always tend to leave the pieces unfinished - this has been a perfect opportunity to follow through and finally finish a piece. This submission is a transcription/cover of "Night in the Brume", essentially intended as a (mostly!) faithful piano rendition of the in-game track. I loved the instrumentation in the original, and tried to focus on adapting the voices cleanly to the piano.

Favourite songs: Answers (more Susan Calloway, please!), Penitus (Praetorium), The Scars of Battle (as well as the Lost City of Amdapor (Hard) theme)

Upbeat in the Brume

I used my keyboard primarily for this arrangement. I recorded five tracks; two percussion, synth, a toy music box, and classic piano. Guitar is my main instrument but i can play others all right too.

Some favorite songs are Shiva EX battle theme, T12 battle theme, and The Pillars night theme.

Title: Night in the Brume (Mega Moogle Mix)

Description: Eurodance-inspired remix! With dancing all over Ishgard! I wanted to try something a bit crazy and irreverent, and decided to go for a synthy dance remix based on the Manderville dance. Since it's mostly digital production, there's not much to watch there performance wise so I decided to make an accompanying music video. Had a ton of fun putting both together. Enjoy!

Submission Title: Snowfall in Ishgard

My inspiration for this arrangement was both the breathtaking music of Heavensward and the character Haurchefant. This music conveys (spoiler ahead!!) how I imagine the Warrior of Light would feel in the days after Haurchefant’s death: sad, but also hopeful and determined to not let his sacrifice be in vain. I used the Heavensward theme, as I believe it is an amazingly emotional piece and found that it helped tell the story of my arrangement of Night in the Brume.

I really love the chords and melodies throughout Night in the Brume. It's a wonderful piece of music with a great amount of variety and it was quite a challenge to squeeze everything I wanted to within the allotted 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
