Both DPS are hit with a powerful attack. You and the tank are fine. An unavoidable AoE hits in two seconds. What do you cast?

Use the other target filter option, where you switch with L1 + one of the right buttonsAs far as I can remember the only thing that doesn't work on non party members is eye for an eye? Maybe medica II? Certainly nothing at lvl 15 though. Since the Hall of the Novice is for basic training I don't see a problem
Though I guess target might be though.. At least on controller is kinda tough to target non party members . I usually have to sheathe the weapon to be able to circle through NPCs and such

I will use "Evil laugh while I watch them die in pain"
DPS should never receive damage other than wide unavoidable aoe or force target on them (attack that ignore aggro)
If they get cleave then they shoulnd't have kiss the tank
They got an aoe then they should have move their Ass
They spread damage then were supposés to hit only one of them then they shouldn't have make out during the fight
And if a DPS got damage, give him a HoT and let him go
A heal must focus on the tank and if possible DPS when he is around 90% and fine
As a healer i'm not here to patch dps's Ass if they are LAZY
The only exception is the Blm which DPS if do not move so I do accept if he take some damage

It may be intentional. You don't want to encourage spamming aoe heals at a low level so making healers focus on swapping targets to single target heal the group might be a good thing. It might also be an oversight, who knows? Is there another training session that does have party members that take a lot of damage? So you want to learn how to play the Healer role. You get your healer to level 15 and go to the Hall of the Novice.
You start going through the training. The very second training exercise is for you to heal multiple party members.
Only, they're not actually in your party. So you can't practice changing targets with F1-Fwhatever, and you can't even practice changing targets by clicking on their name in the party bar. You also can't use abilities like Medica or Helios... because they're not in your party.
Was this intended? I mean, it's not that big of a deal in the long run, but if you're really trying to teach new people how to heal to the maximum of their ability, you're sorta gimping them by not giving them access to all of their options.
Note that Healer is the only role affected by this, due to the way its abilities function.
Medica spamming healers pre-tank stance are the worst. It may be intentional. You don't want to encourage spamming aoe heals at a low level so making healers focus on swapping targets to single target heal the group might be a good thing. It might also be an oversight, who knows? Is there another training session that does have party members that take a lot of damage?
It should NOT be a solution to everything.

Benediction on the one that has least health, tetragramaton on the other and start precasting a Cure II on the tank so it'll go off as the AoE hits (2 second cast time so should just have enough time to get it past the 85% cast point so I won't get interrupted).
Then fix the two DPS that just broke again![]()

What kind of 4 man dungeon has anything like this? Unless the DPS are standing in cleaves with the tank/avoidable AoEs, the damage in every dungeon is more than well spaced out enough to never need to AoE heal two targets. Never mind a dungeon a newbie is doing.
I agree with Fynlar, a new player should not be learning to go for Medica as a quick-fix solution to heal two targets. This trial is aimed at people going into Sastasha for the first time. A CNJ using Medica every time one DPS rips hate off the tank to heal them both is just going to generate unnecessary aggro.
