A GRAND Suggestion? (Spoilers for 3.2 MSQ)

So... I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to post this as this is my first time ever posting on the forums so I apologize if this is in the wrong section.

So, as I'm sure you all know FFXIV hosts a great many fun minigames. Chocobo Racing, Triple Triad, Lord of Verminion, etc. Now, during one of the MSQ for 3.2 there's an event that happens referred to as the "Grand Melee" which, in my opinion, is probably some of the most fun I have ever had doing a quest in FFXIV. Now it might just be me, or my want to keep playing it over and over again, but I kind of see in it the potential for another minigame. The way they had it set up almost felt like they were going to reuse it again at some point.

The way I see it you would be able to collect fighters in a way akin to how you would collect Triple Triad Cards or how you would amass Minions. I thought of referring to them more as "Souls" of the characters you have on the field.

It's way too wicked awesome to be a one time thing. Way too awesome. Would to get to do it again. Was debating on intentionally loosing just to get to do it over and over, but it had it's own plans and well.. I couldn't quite stand by ogling after a point.

That would be an awesome idea I would love to see that and speaking of mini games I would also love to see blitzball from Final Fantasy 10 because I love the blitzball system in Final Fantasy 10 that would also be a cool mini game

Part of me is wondering if this is supposed to be a sorta test for another type of PvP to come after The Feast. That said a minigame version of this also sounds wonderful. Add in some other "boss" types as well to keep things interesting, differing factions.

Thinking about it now, this could also be used as something similar to Triple Triad in relation to quests. Certain NPCs you couldn't do the card game with till you completed their quests. In order to unlock new factions to fight with/against, maybe have to complete their quests? Certianly can see that with the Beast Tribes.

Grand Melee was so much fun. Probably one of the better MSQ duties out there. I would love to see this added as a minigame or something new for PvP aside from The Feast.
