People do realise that you have to have level 60 crafters to meld to level 60 gear don't they? It's easy to say "there's a load of Tier V handouts now, just meld" but unless you have those crafts at 60, or know people/can get people who are willing to pentameld (most aren't), then you're stuffed.

Join the MMO and talk to some crafters.

You need a Goldsmith item melded?

Crafters are fairly generous most of the time. Even if you give them 5k gil for a few melds they would feel appreciated.
