What server are you on? If it is Gilgamesh I would be glad to help you out.

The first time I ran through it our other bard accidentally got himself locked out of the fight. It was long but we got through it. I'm sure if you put a pf up stating your problem there would be a group of 3 others who could carry you through that fight. Good luck.
Just as a side note, the dolls are from Final Fantasy 2 (snes) 4 (every other release) if you ever play that be aware they show up in the underground cave area, so watch out for that.
But yeah, its just a normal dungeon, somebody should be more than happy to carry you, hell, its the last boss, so you could probably just "accidentally" lock yourself out, the dolls are small and normal ish until midway through the fight, so them standing there prior to the pull should be ok-ish, just skip the cutscene then turn the camera away, wait for the tank to pull, and step outside the boss chamber. They'll be annoyed (unless you ask them of course) but it would solve your issue. thats basically my plan for if we ever get a proper spider boss, which somehow, in a fantasy rpg hasn't happened yet. We have yarzons of course, but they are more daddy-long-legs which aren't really an issue, and the boss of the Arboretum is hollow and made of vines so its not too bad.
Thinking about it, spiders aren't really very final fantasy, the closest you will probably get is a common mob (I think there was one in xi). In terms of bosses, final fantasy favours mechanical spiders, rather than giant organic ones (mimic Queen, the spider tank from viii), how are you with it if the spider is mechanical?
Edit: the xi spider mob is already in the game, its in pharos HM among other places as part of the first boss

I think you won't get a GM response for something like this they have a lot of other things to deal with and they can't really do anything about obscure issues with visual aspects. It's like people who complained of motion sickness from A4 even if there were a lot more of those it's just something you'll have to work around. Though really I find these dolls kind of cartoonish at first it's like "Oh that's creepy" then they stop being that creepy. Of course phobias can be difficult to manage some become completely crippled by a phobia. Some can manage them for example I hate spiders if I see a real one I'm freaked out but I can deal with them on screen like in a video game.
The only known cure really is to face your fear head on and realise it's not all that harmful at all. Beating up dolls might even be therapeutic for you in the long run. These ones aren't real but it's a start. They are just made up of code and graphical textures there is no way they could harm you. The more you tell yourself you can't do something the worse it gets. Keep telling yourself it's just a game and breathe slowly. Just trying to get around the problem does nothing but encourage the phobia behaviours.

Honestly, I expected creepier. I wish they said creepy things in the fight. "Come out and play!", "Are you my mommy?-Die!", "Do your arms come off too?"
