Boo, wish it worked for me.

Okay, I have tried switching to wireless... and it worked! The entire download went smoothly in one go, which it never did before.
I am baffled how such a simple change made it work, since I have changed nothing else and it was still the same router... but I will certainly remember it for the future!
Grrr....I can't update at all
always stopped at 525 mb and message appear "unable to download patch file" and had to restart all over again
What kind of system is this to delete all of the patch instead continuing from what left before
I wonder why download progress is not saved if the connection got lost. Is it a deliberate change? or just for this specific update? if future updates are like this then i may have to unsubscribe because i can't upgrade to a better internet provider. this is as good as I can get. at least in the previous updates, progress is saved so even though i lost connection a lot, the download will complete eventually.
I've been trying to down lode it for 2 days now and I still cant get past 400mb.
I keep getting
Unable to download patch file. [30413] [25008]

same issue why is ff still using this crap dl system instead of direct download. WE PAY ENOUGH thats for sure.

I've had this problem since AAR 1st came out, every single patch. I actually left the game as I couldn't update it.
But as you say the stop start method used to work as it would little by little download the update, but with 3.2 it starts from 0mb and doesn't save any of your download progress.
I fixed this by updating my Windows 7 to the free Windows 10. Sounds weird but it worked. Tried for about a hour and a half on Win7 and the highest I got was 500mbish before it stopped downloading/dropped connection.
I noticed while downloading the Win10 update it would timeout and ask me to retry. Can't help wonder if there is some setting somewhere making me timeout of large file downloads??
Loaded up Win10, 1st try on 3.2 update and it worked, I'm back in the game!
Hope this helps
I also had the same problem for 2 days after 3.2 released.
The patcher always stopped at 524 MB and I got an error: "Unable to download patch files. [30413][25008][20495]".
But yesterday, the patcher work successfully for me! What I did was I used SoftEther to connect to a Japan VPN and tried to use it to download the patch. The download speed dropped but the download finally break through the 524 MB wall!! And at last I could play the game again.
Maybe this method could work for you guys too.

I was having this issue for 2 days too, i managed to fix it this morning. What i did was i shutdown my Anti-virus(I am using Avast if that matters), shut down firewall, switched my DNS to auto from Google's, flushed DNS cache and it just patched. It is an annoying patching error though especially since it doesn't save your progress...
