Duty Roulette level 60 requirements.

I'm kind of late to the party as far as gearing up in Heavensward. But I've been running the duty roulette whenever I can. Now with the new patch I'm locked out. This means it'll take even longer for me to reach 180.

I wish the duty roulette would just let you queue and only put you in dungeons you have unlocked so you can keep getting the bonus tomestones.

It shouldn't take too long now that you can get i200 gear with the esoterics uncapped.
What is your ilevel? Your "main class" of Gladiator is only level 54 anyway.

I'm level 60 PLD with an ilevel of 173. Not horribly far off from being able to unlock the new dungeons. But it still seems like the roulette should be available to run the dungeons that I have unlocked. This seems especially unfair to those who are just reaching level 60.

I do remember having the same issue. Are you locked out of Alexander (story)?
You can get accessories @i190 and the like pretty quick there.
And just running the Arboretum will get you gear quickly too.
This is the first patch I've been high enough to start unlocking things right away.

It used to work that way, but people abused it to specifically avoid dungeons that they didn't want to do (requires a bit of foresight).

In case you missed it, i170 gear that used to be purchased with law tomes can now be purchased with centurio seals from Yolaine in the Forgotten Knight for very low prices:
weapons - 140 seals
chest/legs - 120 seals
head/hands/feet - 70 seals
accessories - 55 seals

The items to upgrade i170 to i180 were also severely reduced in price. They now cost 60 (weapon), 50 (armor), and 25 (accessories). Should be able to continue gearing up pretty quickly either with centurio seals on hand or by completing a few marks/ hunts.

Yeah, I noticed that yesterday and felt like hitting myself over the head. I was able to unlock and run both of the new dungeons and that unlocked the expert roulette for me. But the level 60 roulette is still locked and appears to show that I need to complete two dungeons to unlock it. Any idea what that's about?

You need: Neverreap, Fractal, Pharos Sirus HM, Arboretum, and ARF for level 60. Which are you missing?

If he says he's now locked out from the 60 roulette due the patch I would assume he is missing the pharos HM and Arboretum, which were the ex roulette before the patch and only moved to 60 roulette now.
