3* Gear/minimum stats/cheap pentamelds

Wanted to know if anyone has any better suggestions for achieving 3* stats without spending 10 million on materia, it does use HQ seafood stew 2* chest, offhand, accessories, red scrip mainhand, and crafting soul
It is intended to be used with Rath's rotation wich is still amazing according to these forums

Is there a reason you pentameld your 2* chest but only did the guaranteed meld on your OH? Both are craft-specific, and you'd probably lose less materia if you moved those last two overmelds in the chest to the OH.

I noticed you left out the crafted MH in favor for the i170, That's a bad idea specially for Rath's Rotation. You want to aim to 471 CP.

One of it's many advantages is that by default you can use one Precise or Basic Touch instead of a Hasty without depending on Tricks of the Trade. But if you can get a single ToT you gain 2 extra touches, for a whoping 3 Precise / Basic Touches. And that can easily make the difference between a NQ and a HQ craft, because of the RNG factor of hasty touches.

So an alternative I found using the same gear you're showing is to pentameld the OH (CP IV, 2xControl II, 2xCraft I) and the MH (Control IV, CP III, 3x Craft I) super cheap melds that leaves you exactly at 850 / 820 / 471

Control IV went up to 400K on Ultros, CP IV is near 300K... Had an airship bring back 19x Control IV cashed it in for near 8 mil gil

The 3* min stats are pretty high, I've had a ton of players ask me about some min melds because of the Materia Prices... I'll send them here
