Overmeld until reaching 2* stat
Then craft your tool
Do not bother touching this red script crap !
And aim for all off-hand crafted
The belt
Then all set

It depends on how much gil you want to spend on overmelds. If you want to save a lot of money, you can grab the ilvl 180 mainhand and offhand. They are huge upgrades.
Without ANY melds, you will already be at 755 Crafts and 668 Control. Invest in Control and CP +4 materia and put them in the secure slots. You will reach two star stats easily. If you're a specialist, it is even easier (Bonus +20/+20 Crafts/Control).
Then, craft your ilvl 170 accessories and the belt --> fully meld them. Next step would be getting to three star. I assume you will have to upgrade at least your body armour. But again, you can either craft the ilvl 170 and meld it or get the ilvl 180 equivalent. (The 170 body fully melded (without materia Vs) is a bit stronger than the 180 body.)
So, I have played around with Ariyala's Tool. You will get to 851 Crafts, 810 Control and 414 CP with the above suggestion (and the specialist crystal).

The missing 10 Control can be bridged with Food, FC Buff or new upgrades.

Haven't choose any specialist atm....think to go with BSM, GSM and (dunno).
so take 180 MH and OH then? meld my 150 with all my CON/CP materia and start the way to 170?
If you have enough time, yes. But keep in mind that the mainhand alone takes 3 weeks of red Scrips. I assume the offhand will require the same amount.
If you don't have the time, you will have to meld your way up. :/
26x2 = 52
I've 50 red so next week i can buy both
(assume that OH it's still 26 red)
That's great! One last word: you will "lose" 4 CP each because you can't meld CP to the 180 main and offhand. BUT the best rotation (in my opinion) is Rath's Rotation which only needs 437 CP. Add 18 CP for a free touch and you're at 455 CP needed. This value can be achieved without melding CP into the main and offhand.

Do you happen to have a link to Rath's rotation? I'd appreciate it![]()
sorry for bother you again
which job it's better to start to take MH and OH? So i'll craft the token to exchange it![]()
Personally, I had bought the ilvl180 mainhand for my blacksmith, so I could craft most of the ilvl170 offhands without those crazy melds. That's a good start, because it boosts most of the other classes and enables them to do two star as well (upgrade from 150 MH to 180 MH is almost the same as 140 OH to 170 OH). But it's a lot of work.
