35 seconds left on Thordan as an SCH. I mentioned it I'm another thread, but I really would like a healer spin on these dummies.

So far it's been a little too easy for healer dps on sch. There isn't a true parse to tell what is working. It's just not realistic. I get that this wasnt made with healers in mind, but next time they should give us 3 additional striking dummies that are being attacked by the striking dummy we fight (think visible charge bars and aoes). The 3 additional dummies should be added to our party when we enter. :3 that I would like to see.

FWIW, I ran the following dummies on MNK (i210 w/ upgraded eso weapon, solo, no food, no pots, sample size of 1):
A3S: Killed with 20 seconds left
A4S: Killed with 10 seconds left
Sephirot EX: Killed with 11 seconds left
A5S: Killed with 4 seconds left

I honestly thought I wasn't going to make it on the A5S one. lol

I wish there was some sort of personal record kept for it so there's no need to eyeball kill times.

I tried a5s, a6s and a8s dummies today (i212 atm). These were my results:
Killed A5S with 9 secs left
Failed A6S twice by 5%- and then finnaly killed
Then went straight away for a8s and gave one try. Failed it with 16% HP left lol (tbh that one is insane, at least at this ilvl. It's arround 1700 dps/sec for 3 min with no boosts from other classes).

I did Seph EX and failed it with 3secs and 2% HP, literally it just stopped with time on the clock. I'd say that is pretty good but they do fail to give accurate representation on it as some skills become useless or unusable. While I know some I can't really depends on like the proc for parrying an attack its still damage or the missed MP from Blood Price to allow more Dark Art uses. Otherwise I welcome them and enjoy it, havn't really tried much else.

Are the Stone, Sky, Sea trials only broken up by tank, Healer, DPS?

Well thats a psuedo parse. Doesn't help in the real thing, but gives you "somewhat" of a rating. q.q

I'm would like to know how realistic these dummies are.

Tried it yesterday with my i203 MCH.

Got down A3S dummy with 15 secs left.

Got down A4S dummy with 10 secs left.

Both first try. I'm not a very expierienced DD player.

It left some questionmarks over my head.

AS2 is the same requirement as Thordan Ex.

AS4 is the same requirement as Sephirot Ex.

Midas is between AS2 and AS3.

How does dealing damage to a dummy help me heal? Surely it should be more like (another MMO) where you are told to heal a tank or heal a target taking damage the tank would take in the fight...kinda useless to me as a healer what my dps is...since i wont be damaging that much.
