PS4 Error CE-30022-7

I'm not finding much of anything at all online about this error, but I have it, and I can't play the game.

The only advice I found was to delete my user info and recreate it. I hate losing all my gear sets, but I did it. It didn't work. I restored my digital liscenses. It didn't work. I still have the error.

When I tried to load the game (using the above "fixes") the launcher update would get to 100% and just... hang there. After about 15 minutes, I closed the application and got the message that the update file was installed. I tried to load the game and bam, right back into the error 30022-7 loop.

What is going on? How can I fix it? I'm beyond frustrated and annoyed at this point. I've never had this error until this morning.

Same here, tried licence restore, didn't go as far as user delete but have deleted the game and in process of redownloading it, really frustrating as the error code isn't on the psn support database.

Arrgh. There is a reddit thread on this issue. Apparently, the only sure-fire fix is to delete and reinstall. My PS4 is estimating 5-6 hours for a full download. I'm so frustrated!

getting the same thing seems like the most recent update broke the launcher for some ps4 players and i have no idea if S-E can even fix it

Its not just PS4 players that the update broke, its done the same for PC users as well

Even if you get in, the servers are totally broke, with 500+ player ques only to get connection lost when you get to the front.

They have tried to fix it once already and failed. They have no idea what they are doing.

the launcher is borked for PC? because the order of events for mine at least is

press X on game
Dragoon face appears
blue screen with "cannot start the application (CE-30022-7)"
then it kicks me back to the XMB

i dont even get to see the launcher or anything

Same issues, after I updated the launcher this morning I can't get passed the dragoon screen.
Issue seems pretty rampant among PS4 users and from what I understand some PC users.

Good news: deleting the game, redownloading, then relaunching worked to get past the sentry dragoon.

Bad news: It took 4 1/2 hours to download the game. Looks like another 3 hours to update the patches. And probabaly another hour or so to recreate all my gear sets, cross bars, and HUD.

All this for an update patch. For shame. shamenun.com

I read on the reddit thread that re-downloading the game was a guaranteed work around. Thankfully my character data and system data uploaded via PS+ so maybe I'll do this. Shouldn't have to though, it's clearly a bugged launcher and that should be an easy patch. I wish they separated the launcher from the main game like in FFXI. I think I'll wait it out a bit.
