WAR got screwed over by this patch in a big, big way. I don't understand how people could fail to realize that our high damage output directly translated to the restoration of lost health, as compensation for our overall lower defense. It's not the 7-8k Fell Cleaves I'm going to miss; it's the 3-4k Inner Beasts and 1k Storm's Path that kept me standing.
Rather than refine DRK and PLD to operate in their areas as well as WAR previously did, they decided to beat us down.
Long and short of it is, I'm switching over to SMN as my main.

Exceeeeeept that our defense was not by any means inferior and is arguably superior.WAR got screwed over by this patch in a big, big way. All that extra healing really ended up as overhealing and isn't part of our rotation to surviving the tankbuster(s). It was just a nice extra that happened to scale really well with our damage. I think it's purpose was to make up for the -5% healing disparity in Defiance with ShO/Grit(?)

Very basic division using the example resulted in
1 AP = 2.22 Combined VIT+STR
which in turn if both were equal would lead to 1.1 STR = .5AP and 1.1 VIT = .5AP
which is unlikely due to what they wanted to acomplish; and extra STR seemingly to give diminsihing returns, so VIT has to be slightly more so probably,
1 STR = >.5AP and 1.2 VIT = <.5AP by minute fractions
or... would it be 1.2 STR = >.5AP and 1VIT = <.5AP
this is why i dont math
but this is all super basic using the examples so yadda dont hold it accurately
It is 0.45 AP per Vit and 0.45 AP per Str. Just tested it briefly.
Confused how it could be even, yet taking a VIT accessory and replacing it with a STR one can make AP go up. Or is this not true? Can't go on to test atm.

When wearing full VIT, if I put on 2 STR accessories my AP would go up to about 870. Putting on more after that made it drop. No clue why.
Edit: ...i take that back. I tried again and it didn't go up. Super weird.

759x + 1106y = 838
994x + 861y = 834
solve for x and y
its too late I can't do math at the moment
edit
ok i just did it, its .45 for x and y
so whoever said its .45 for both is right.

Assuming .45 AP per point for VIT and STR (sounds right to me), is it possible to look at the stats on Lore/Midas gear and calculate how much AP we'll have by the end of it? I'll prob do that later if no one can be bothered, curious to see where we'll sit at by the end of this ilvl increase.
e: Realized people are probably actually doing stuff in the patch so I'll just do it myself later lol
