This is good, I like this line.
I think the small list of things I would change currently about tanks is to buff RoH potency to ~280. Buff Storm's Eye potency to ~290.
Maaaayybbee add 10% damage taken down to DRK's DD. And buff Delirium to ~290 potency.
My life while tanking is an existential hell from which there is no escape.
Don't touch it! It's mine! Don't touch iiiiiit!! ;_____;
Buffing delirium is not bad idea, but i would rather change dleirium side-effect. i would change it to lower magic-attack dealt or magic-resistance (5% should be more than OP for both of these, i know)- better this than 20-potency-higher normal combo, when a monk is in party.
What armor a class wears is pointless if the only thing that matters is base stats on each piece. With glamour it's actually even more skewed since you just take gear with the best stats and glamour something you like on it.
Technically one of the Red Mages de facto skills to offset it's lower spell pool was Dualcast(let's be honest swiftcast kinda already does this unless they make RDM do it all the time) or the ability to chainspell. If the BLM doesn't get Annihilation in next expansion Red Mage might get it since it combines Fire and Ice together. Albeit at a long cast time/cooldown. Maybe 5 minutes cooldown and a 10 second cast time.
What is Annihilation? Ascian Prime spell. Running by the game's jaded lore concepts it looks like probably the ultimate BLM spell.
Lmao, sorry about the first one.Don't touch it! It's mine! Don't touch iiiiiit!! ;_____;

The reason I want the combo potencies buffed is so that it is always a clear and present choice to trade bonus enmity for extra damage. Right now it isn't like that for Warriors (which is extremely powerful, easily enough alone to make them the best tank to actually tank things), and is like that for the other two tanks.
Buffing RoH to 280 just brings it more in line with damage output of other enmity skills.

Uhm, a 60% decrease in def and 30% decrease in mdef in comparison to the other tanks is fairly significant (even if not completely visible). A 28% lower mdef was one of the major causes of Dragoon "floor tanking" in endgame prior to the the patch that brought Maiming gear mdef into parity with Striking/Scouting/Aiming gear.
Double and Triple already exist in the game. Always saw them as future RDM abilities.What armor a class wears is pointless if the only thing that matters is base stats on each piece. Ah thank you for the clarification on just how much foresight actually does. Also I completely forgot it was cross class >_< So a bit off topic is foresight before ter saved for tanks busters or used to reduce overall damage?Let me learn you a thing, because too many people are just blind to this or don\\'t give enough of a shit to care about actually considering Foresight.
More importantly, Foresight is cross-class. If you replace it with some other skill, that skill would ALSO need to be cross-class while being as useful as Foresight currently is. Your suggestion, imo, would not realistically meet either of those requirements. Dragoons and Monks have access to MRD cross-class, as well as both other tanks. So...
Yes, but by no means does it have to come from the base Defense / magDef values. Other modifiers or buffs can easily bring about equivalent passive eHP with low Def/mDef. And it's not like completely passive eHP itself is necessary, even, as long as buff coverage is high enough.Uhm, a 60% decrease in def and 30% decrease in mdef in comparison to the other tanks is fairly significant (even if not completely visible). Literally Double and Triple are already in the game, both of which I know for a fact aren't gonna be usable, just as Drain isn't usable by us, though I don't know why. Anyway, Sharpcast is nothing like Double or Triple. It just makes you proc your additional effects, nothing else.
