    Looking to buy a heavensward code

    Hi I want to buy my friend heavensward. Will I get the code if i buy it from the SE store?? I just don't want it to link to my account as soon as i buy it or something.

    If you buy the digital download from the SE store they will send you a code via email. So no it won't link to your account as soon as you buy it. :>

    Can't delete threads. Don't worry about it though, it'll dissapear once maintenance starts due to all the "I'm bored" and "3.2 Hype" threads that'll pop up.

    ask your friend where he has the base from (Steam, PS3/PS4, etc) and then buy it from that service as a gift for him. The worst thing you could do is buy the code for the wrong platform. Steam keys and retail keys don't mix (Steam is its own platform for this game). A console key doesn't mean you can play on PC (had this happen with a friend).
